Analisis Hubungan Accounting Risk dan Market Risk Pada Perbankan Go public di Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah masih terdapat hubungan antara risiko akuntansi dan risiko pasar serta apakah data akuntansi masih relevan digunakan oleh pelaku pasar modal untuk memprediksi risiko pasar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel penelitian adalah industri perbankan di pasar modal BEI periode tahun 2012 sampai dengan tahun 2018. Dari jumlah bank yang go public sebanyak 41 bank, maka digunakan sampel penelitian sebanyak 28 bank. Variabel dependen yang digunakan adalah beta saham sebagai ukuran risiko pasar. Variabel independen yang digunakan adalah data akuntansi yang berkaitan dengan risiko yaitu earning variability, loan to deposit ratio, capital adequacy ratio dan non performing loan ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat hubungan antara risiko akuntansi dan risiko pasar pada industri perbankan. Pasalnya, saat ini data akuntansi masih diandalkan investor pasar modal untuk memprediksi risiko pasar saham perbankan. Hasil regresi panel berganda menunjukkan bahwa data akuntansi masih relevan digunakan untuk memprediksi risiko pasar. Ketika data pasar tidak pasti, investor dapat menggunakan data akuntansi seperti variabilitas laba, rasio pinjaman terhadap simpanan, rasio kecukupan modal, dan rasio pinjaman bermasalah untuk memprediksi beta saham bank yang go public.References
