Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of religiousness, wage, and reference group simultaneously and group partially on student’s interest to work in a sharia bank. The sample that is used in this research is 80 college students from the Islamic banking financial management major of STIE IBS. The analysis method that is used is multiple regression analysis. The data that is gathered is primary data from questionnaire. The result of this research shows that there is a simultaneous effect from religiousness, wage, and reference group on student’s working interest. This research also shows that there is a partial significant effect from wage and reference group on working interest but religiousness has no significant effect. Coefficient of determination result shows that working interest can be defined by religiousness, wage, and reference group by 83.2% while the rest of 16.8% is defined by other variables that aren’t considered in this research.
